Община Пловдив · CC BY-SA 4.0Getting there
Plovdiv has bus and rail connections. Check current timetables before travelling.
Parking
Park in a permitted space outside the walking route. The Green Zone in part of Kapana restricts parking to local owners and authorised users.
With children and reduced mobility
The basilica, stadium and Tsar Simeon Garden offer a varied family day. Slopes and paving in the Old Town make pushchairs difficult to use.
Costs
Public streets, Kapana, the garden and the open northern section of the stadium require no ticket. The theatre, basilica, museum houses and 3D hall charge separately.
When to visit
Spring and autumn are good for walking. In summer, visit outdoor sights in the morning or late afternoon.
