What makes it special?

Kyustendil combines a long spa tradition, Roman and medieval remains, strong art collections and the fertile orchard landscape at the foot of Osogovo Mountain.

Known in antiquity for its warm mineral waters, the city still revolves around baths, parks and a gentle centre. Its galleries and seasonal fruit traditions add a distinctive cultural layer.
